Bishop Transition Committee Organizing Meeting
The BTC holds its first meeting to begin the process of organizing themselves according to ECCT’s Canons.
The BTC works to gather information from listening sessions and conversations across ECCT. This information will be used to create the Profile
The Profile created by the BTC goes live. Applications and nominations are open.
Applications and Nominations Close
First Round of Interviews
The BTC reviews the nominations and completes a first round of interviews with candidates remotely.
Second Round of Interviews
A second round of interviews with those continuing in the process.
Discernment Retreat with Semi-finalist Candidates
The BTC hosts a retreat for the semi-finalist candidates.
The slate of candidates is announced, opening up a 10-day petition period.

ECCT Special Election Convention
A special election convention is held in order to elect the next bishop diocesan of ECCT.
Consents are secured from The Episcopal Church’s bishops and dioceses.
